As Waterville patrons, you will be able to place holds for Waterville items only. For all holds we will call or email you when the items are ready to be picked up. Items can be picked up Mon-Fri, 4-6pm or by appointment. Requested items will be held for 1 week only.

Watch the video below to see how to place holds on the new catalog

To place a hold through the online catalog:
1.Visit midyork.org
2.Select your pickup library (Waterville) from the list.
3.Search our library’s catalog and place your holds

*If title “is not found” that means Waterville doesn’t own it. You can: a) wait until it can circulate between libraries, b) search other libraries that you can drive to and call them to see if you can pick it up, c) inquire to see if we can add it to our collection.

To place a hold by phone:
*Call 315.841.4651 and speak with a staff member or leave a message with your request.

With our Google form:
Aren’t sure what you are looking for? Request a Grab & Go bag!

Book Returns

*All books must be returned to our book drop, located at the front of the library. We cannot accept any returns at the circ desk.
*All items will be quarantined before recirculating and will be listed on your account until we can return them to the shelves. No worries though, we are now fine free!
