Marvin Bourdeau

March 20, 1937 – May 18, 2022 
Oriskany Falls-Marvin J. Bourdeau, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Utica Rehabiliation Center in Utica. Marv was born in Plattsburgh on March 20, 1937, the son of the late Marvin E. and Juanita E. James Bourdeau.  He was raised in Plattsburgh and attended Mount Assumption and Our Lady of Victory High.  Marv moved to Oriskany Falls and graduated from Oriskany Falls High School in 1955. On July 25, 1959, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, in Oriskany Falls, he married his high school sweetheart,

Waterville Memorial Day Parade
Monday, May 30th @ 9am!


No games this weekend (Saturday, 5/28 & Sunday, 5/29) due to Memorial Day Weekend.
We will see everyone for sessions and games June 4th and June 5th. Don’t forget to save your bottles and cans from your Memorial Day festivities! See below for all the details regarding our Bottle Drive on June 4 and June 5.

The parade starts at 9AM with a memorial service at the park immediately after.

Waterville Pop Warner

Waterville Pop Warner will be having a Golf Tournament on Sunday July 10th.
It will be a memorial tournament for Ernie Werner who was
instrumental in getting our program up and running.

On Wednesday, May 25 the Waterville Drama Club will present the first ever student produced Drama Production! The show, “The Snow White Variety Show” will take place on Wednesday, May 25 at 6:00 PM in the High School Auditorium. A $5 admission will be collected at the door. There will be a bake sale and flowers for sale during the event. We hope to see you there!
The Waterville FFA Alumni and Supporters will be holding a reorganizational meeting on Wednesday, May 25.

While we’re busy replacing our carpets and setting up the Creative Media Lab, on site programming will be
limited…that’s why we’re encouraging you to participate in our “Get Caught Reading” photo contest!
During the month of May grab your favorite book (or the one you’re reading at the moment), find a fun place
to read (inside/outside/upside down even) and have someone take your picture! Then, email it to us at watervillecommunications@midyork.org to enter for a chance to win a fun prize (TBA)! Submissions will be
displayed on the “Programs & Extras” page of our website. Voting will take place on our Facebook and
Instagram pages beginning May 23rd and ending May 30th. So, tell your friends and family to cast their votes…
and don’t forget to vote yourself! The winner will be announced through social media
